Planning your visit to the Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House
The Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House is a National Historic Landmark and is open to visitors seasonally, May through October, and other times by appointment. The home serves as the headquarters of the Stonington Historical Society and offices are open year round.
The Captain Palmer House is located adjacent to the Woolworth Library and Research Center.

The Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House is open for the season on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Guided tours are given at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00pm.
Admission to the Old Lighthouse Museum is included in your ticket price:

HOW TO FIND US
The Captain Palmer House is located at 40 Palmer Street in Stonington, CT. Take Exit 91 on I-95 from either direction. Turn south on Route 234 (Pequot Trial) 0.4 miles to left turn at North Main Street and proceed 1.5 miles to traffic light at intersection with Route 1. Turn right on Route 1. Turn left at next traffic light onto North Water Street (Route 1A). Immediately across Lambert's Cove and after the Pine Point Bridge, the Captain Palmer House will be on your left. Park in the Woolworth Library parking area next door to house.
